If you’ve attended a PechaKucha Fort Collins night, you know that presentations are given by local community members and often reveal something unexpected. Some say it’s better than television! We look forward to sharing eight interesting and fun presentations with you on November 8.
At this Pecha Kucha event, Jordan Williams–Assistant Program Manager for the Poudre Heritage Alliance–will be highlighting a statewide heritage tourism initiative called “Colorado Heritage Journey“.
This collaborative project began in 2017 between the Cache la Poudre River, South Park, and Sangre de Cristo National Heritage Areas. Then in 2018, Jordan and his wife set out to hike the Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango, while making stops along the way at many historically important sites and towns.
Jordan blogged about their experiences, which can be found online
by going to the Colorado Heritage Journey website: http://coheritagejourney.com.
During his talk on November 8, Jordan will be sharing stories from the trail
and discussing the importance of our National Heritage Areas.
